INDIANAPOLIS – As Wheaton World Wide Moving continues to grow, the company is taking an aggressive approach to financial stability by naming Sharon Heneghan Vice President of Finance.
Heneghan, a 30- year veteran of the van line, will become a member of the Executive Committee and take on new responsibilities that involving different aspects of the business.
“Sharon plays a vital role in keeping the company’s finances on-track and has been integral to each of our recent acquisitions,” said Mark Kirschner, Wheaton CEO. “Her oversight continues to allow our company to have one of the best balance sheets in the industry.”
Heneghan has held various titles within the organization – from Staff Accountant and Controller, to Assistant Vice President – and was the van line’s Employee of the Year in 2000. Heneghan oversees Finance, Human Resources, Credit & Collections, Purchasing & Mail Services and Facilities Management.
Heneghan’s promotion follows on the heels of two acquisitions in two years for the van line. The company added Clark & Reid in 2013 to the Wheaton Van Lines umbrella and acquired Bekins Van Lines in 2012.
