Household moving costs

The cost of interstate moving with Wheaton is determined by the weight of your shipment and the distance it must be relocated, plus any additional services such as packing, appliance service or special handling needs.

WVL-100 Commerical Relocation Tariff

The price is based on the  WVL-100 Commercial Relocation Tariff. The WVL-100 tariff provides the schedule of rates and charges which Wheaton uses to compute the total cost of moving for services performed. Discounts off the tariff are often offered and are determined by various criteria of your move. For example, large moves will likely receive a larger discount than smaller moves. And moves scheduled during peak periods (usually the end of each month and the summer months) will not be as highly discounted as those which occur during the off-season. Your  local Wheaton moving and storage agent can provide you with accurate  moving estimates based on these criteria.

Methods of Payment

You can pay for your move at the time of delivery with cash, money order, traveler's check, certified check or cashier's check. Or, with prior credit approval, you can charge the cost of your move to your personal credit card. Wheaton gladly accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

“I just wanted to compliment two of your drivers/crew I saw today. They were on Route 202 in Basking Ridge, N.J. turning left onto Tempe Wick Road, which can be very busy at 8 a.m. The turn was completed with exceptional care and consideration of safety. The team work involved in ensuring the turn was completed without causing damage to other vehicles was impressive.”
