File a claim from your military move

How to file a military claim
New DPS Program
If your Government Bill of Lading (GBL) number begins with 4
letters (e.g., HBNL0001234):
- This type of claim must be filed through the DPS computer system via the Internet.
To access DPS claim filing instructions, visit www.move.mil.
OLD TOPS Program
If your Government Bill of Lading (GBL) number begins with 2
letters (e.g., ZX123456):
• Fill out form DD1844.
• Your claim may be submitted via mail (8010
Castleton Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250), fax (317-570-4633) or
email (claims@wvlcorp.com).
Property damage
Claims for damage to real estate property (rental or owned) must
be filed directly with Wheaton World Wide Moving. This damage must
be filed on the DD1844
or the Wheaton World Wide Moving claim
form.
