New agent announcement
National City Transfer and Storage (NCTS) recently joined Wheaton World Wide Moving’s agency network as a prime interstate agent. Previously affiliated with Arpin Van Lines, National City joins more than 200 Wheaton agents across the country.
“National City Transfer and Storage has a long history and a reputation of excellence, which is a great fit for the Wheaton agency family,” said A.J. Schneider, Executive Vice President of Wheaton | Bekins | Stevens. “We look forward to a long partnership.”
The National City moving company is a fourth-generation family owned and operated business, currently run by Robert Myres, whose grandfather John Myres started the company in 1945, and Robert’s two sons, Daniel and Thomas.
Over the years, the Myres family and their employees have moved many interesting items, but the most standout are the banquet table and grandfather clock that had come to America on the Mayflower. The literally priceless items were in good hands with NCTS, traveling from San Diego to Oregon with no damage.
The National City team engages with its community in a number of ways, from sponsoring local youth sports teams to donating and fundraising for local organizations such as Make-A-Wish San Diego, the San Diego Chapter of the American Heart Association, and Warrior Foundation—Freedom Station, which helps wounded warriors hospitalized at San Diego Naval Hospital.
National City Transfer and Storage is located at 2150 McKinley Ave., National City, CA 91950. They can be reached by phone at (619) 477-2774 or online at www.nationalcitytrans.com.
