Last in. First out.

December 11, 2009 | Moving Guides & Tips

Opposite of the Black Friday shopping mantra of first in, first out, there’s one moving day mantra you should keep in mind — last in, first out.

In today’s hectic world, your life never stops moving. When your Wheaton World Wide Moving driver loads up his truck with your belongings, the last box he places in his truck will likely be one of the first he unloads at your new home.

The moving in/out carton should contain items that you will need up until the last minute on the day you vacate your home and items to help you settle into your new home once you arrive. These may include:

  • Towels
  • Toiletries
  • Tissues/paper towels
  • Vacuum cleaner
  • Non-aerosol cleaning supplies
  • Plastic cups, plates and utensils

Your local Wheaton agent can assist you with a plan to have the essentials available as soon as the moving van arrives.
