What NOT to Move

August 30, 2011 | Moving Guides & Tips

Not everything should be packed up into cartons and sent on the truck to your new destination. Wheaton World Wide Moving suggests the following items not be moved with the rest of your household items for safety reasons:

  • Stocks, bonds and securities
  • Coins and stamps
  • Insurance policies
  • Currency
  • Jewelry and furs
  • Important documents
  • Prescriptions

These items should be moved by you. Transit arrangements should be made through your banker for financial documents and currency.
