Move for Hunger, a nonprofit that helps direct nonperishables to local food pantries during moves, remains one of our favorite nonprofits.
Every year, Wheaton World Wide Moving agents across the country donate their time and services to delivering nonperishables in partnership with Move For Hunger.
In 2020, our organization brought in more than 126,000 pounds of food. WOW!
Over the 11–year lifetime of Move for Hunger, agents in our network have brought in 3.6 million pounds of food. That’s a lot of food and a lot of meals provided. We’re humbled to think of the lives impacted by the generosity of Wheaton agents across the country. Thank you to all those who have donated time, equipment, and resources!
Move for Hunger recently awarded Agent of the Year for 2020 to one of Wheaton World Wide Moving’s most giving agents: Carolina Moving & Storage of Beaufort, S.C.
Carolina Moving & Storage brought in more than 31,000 pounds of food, providing more than 26,000 meals.
“Our guys just love delivering the food and look forward to it each month,” said Susan Neal, Vice President of Carolina Moving & Storage. “This program is a wonderful way to help the thousands of food-insecure children right here in our small community.”
